Flukes

Flukes are tiny microscopic parasites that lodge themselves in the gills of the. Symptoms of this infection are swollen gills that appear reddish or pinkish in color and laboured breathing. The gill infections will cause the fish to spend more time near the surface of the water in order to obtain more oxygen.
